Dekmore, nowaday, has so much freedom more than in the past. Sometimes they forget that they are still in school. Many students become T.V.stars, singers, and even appear on the frontpage of daily newspapers. Public exposure on their images could be harm for their status as students.
For example, the girl who showed up herself in the Goldern Supannahong award, what if - she were not a student at the Thammasart University, would the media blame her for an impropered dress? Would the school appeared in public and blame her? What is her right to dress as a woman? Would the sexiness make any stain on the school brand?
Another example, Pemika who is a student at Chulalongkorn University. After failing her case against the family of Dr.Prakitpao, she got so much blame from the media. The school instead of protecting her, infact, many teachers came out saying that she's not a deligent student, she missed many classes and she failed three exams.
What's about the right of the individuals? I think it's OK for students to make some mistakes at school such as getting bad marks or missing the class or failing the exam. That's understandable. Many students have done the same things. Yes, she has been through surgery, and she (might) has sex with Dr.Prakitpao but there is nothing to do with the school. Sometimes, I think people got mix up beteen the individual rights and the institution regulations.

I do think in the same way about the individual right. As long as that right does not harm other people. (you can harm yourselve, it's your right)
Student spend normally (maximum)eight hour for their class. But spend the rest of the day out of the school hour. However, their student status always stick with them all the time until there graduated.
There is a regulation when you are student. where all those regulation come from? Who wrote it?
Was it from the student themselve?

I think it is the individual’s right to do something like those. But the individual must be careful not to harm others, break the social rules or even affect oneself. If they can think a bit before committing, it will get along to each other well. Dressing in nice dressing style will be cool among public, media. There is nothing breaks the school regulations. The one who dress will impress others and get praise from public and media for proper dress.
I also think that it depends on each person to be aware of / realize what is the proper way before doing something in order to make very few / no mistakes. I can say truly that each one is not the same. People are different in everything because they have grown up by different factors. Then let them learn by “ You’ve got what you have done”

In some point, I do thnik it is good to be a student; to carry a student status. But it is somehow not good.
Student can access to many organization such as for the internship or assistant or volunteer. it 's good to gain an experience and see the organization he/she is working with. The more opportunities are given to the student.
However, Student is still considered as young, less experience and inferior to the adult. So, Student should be under an adult regulations.
Infact, Many young people (student)have an ability to think. the regulation should base on their opinion and agreement.
I have read an article in the literature journal mentioning about the new magazine which the production is based on teenager. The editer believe that The magazine is producing for young people to encourage the moral and knowledge for them. So, the editer believe that to talk to teenager we should speak the "same language" as them. So, the main writer in the magazine are teenagers. The magazine open more to have participation form young people in order to gain the understanding of each other and sending the message.
I do like the idea that. We sould speak the "same language". So, we can understand each other.

Regulation is something we have to follow. Imagine, if many of us don't follow the rule, what will happen? Don't you think there are so many problems in our society.
Why do we have to create more trouble? We should consider much more about this, not only Thai students.
However, the regulation would be effective if there is someone being the controller.
Yes, I believe that it impossible to govern everyone to be under the regulation. But at least teachers or university instructors should do something to cope with students' improper behaviors. Students are students. There must be someone advise, suggest or guide them to be in the right way. If they don't, then, who is the best one responsible for Thai students' behaviors. If Thai adults neglect this issue, what will happen?

In the case of students from Thammasart(Emmy),she dressed to sexily.She should have dressed more prperly in oder to defend her own reputation.
However,instead of focusing on how students dress,we should try to focus on academic quaility.It's ok for students to dress little sexily as long as they can have good responsibility for themselves.
I think Thai people like to gossip too much.Moreover they don't like to accept reality. For example,when students from Chula or Thammasart commit wrong things,people will talk a lot becuase of the reputation of universities,not becuase the students who commit wrong things.We place so much value to academic institues.I think it's time for teachers to accept the bad actions from their students and try to defend them,not to discard them when thet are in trobles.
The world has changed so fast.We cannot stop the influence from modernization all around the world.
Instead of rejecting it,we should try to make use the good things from it.
